Getting Caught Up
By: Ro | March 21st, 2009I apologize for not updating as frequently as I would like to, school has been crazy! Anyways enough about me lets get onto Pato.
Our little duckling has been busy this past week. He was called up for the Brazil squad, he talked about Ronaldo’s return to football, and he said he hopes to win the Champions League next year with Milan. Also, I know this is kind of late, apparently he and Sthefany are back together for he heart has worked its way back into the goal celebration. If Sthefany is the one that is encouraging all the hair cutting and beard growing that has been going on as of late, then she needs to go!
See the exhibits below for the heart, the hair cutting, and the beard growing.

Exhibit B:

Anyways let’s move on….
So Dunga called up Pato for the World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Peru along with the rest of the Milan team. When asked what he thought of Ronaldo’s return he had this to say:
“I watched his recent performances on television, I’m very happy for him because he suffered a lot.”
“He has already done a lot for the Seleçao, but I think he could still give his contribution. Brazil have many champions, but there is only one Phenomenon. Ronaldo is an idol and an example for me.
“He had a thousand injuries, almost all of them very serious, but always somehow managed to pick himself up and come back. He has an incredible character.”
If footballing doesn’t work out for him, which is high unlikely considering how well he’s doing, he could have a future in PR. He sure knows how to talk to the Press doesn’t he?

Thanks Samuel, I’m excited for the game also. I don’t know about a start but I can bet that he’ll play. Dunga has said that it isn’t fair for Pato to come in and take over when there are others before him. I would hope that he gets a start though he’s been on fire and that will only boost his confidence more.
