January Player of the month goes too…

By: Ro | February 20th, 2009

…Alexandre Pato!

Yup, that’s right everyone Pato has been voted as player of the month for January! This past month Pato has showed the type of top caliber player he can be. He has scored 11 goals this season so far, three of which were scored in the month of January. He smoked both Mexes and Doni with his blistering pace to score a brace against Roma, and he’s beat Frey to score the one and only goal against Fiorentina. In addition, he was also one of the only players that fully showed up putting their heart and soul into Derby della Madonnina against Inter. Not only has he scored goals he’s also formed a brilliant understanding with Kaka. It’s been wonderful to see him go from the young kid from Brazil to Milan’s starlet.

Moka over at the Ac Milan Blog brought this video to my attention, thank you Moka, now sit back and enjoy.

Congratulations Duckie! You deserve it!

I completely agree. he had played wonderfully and really was the only player I saw giving 100% in the derby.

Sure Moka, right now I’m getting my footing with the Pato blog but I would like to take on the Kaka blog too. I messaged Daryl about it and he said that when and if I feel comfortable taking on two blogs to let him know and he’d set me up. I’ll know for sure within the next couple of days if I’ll be able to handle both ok?

Ok perfect. I had heaps of free time last summer when I started and throughout last term, but this term is too much. :P

Whenever I can, I will contribute to the Kaka blog. :)

    Sweet Vid!

I can see more confidence in Pato now and during the derby, even towards the end, he was toying with the defenders it was great!

I just love the way be burns the opposition with that amazing speed.

He is def living up to the hype that was heaped on him last season imo

Ro, i tried emailing you but my message got bounced back??

Thank you Samuel, and I totally agree. He combines fluidity and pace to the extreme and it gets even better when he has the ball at his feet.

Thanks Trixie, he’s made this really easy on me, I tell you. If my blog is any good it’s all due to him for being so amazing.
