Now I’ve read elsewhere that the only time they think that Pato did make a snarky comment was when Pippo took that shot instead of passing to him when he was wide open…and really who wouldn’t be upset at that?? I was frustrated when I saw that and I’m not even the one playing.

It must be frustrating when you go through a drought period…the blame is put on you. You are the one that didn’t score, you are the one that lost the game because you didn’t score, you this and you that. I’m sure it doesn’t exactly boost your morale. I still think that like some of us Milanisti who are still trying to accept Kaka’s departure, Pato was affected in a big way. His partnership with Kaka was great! They read each other very well…and now he doesn’t have that. He has to start from scratch and reform a relationship with someone else. It must be hard to have to start over like that.

Anyways here’s to hoping that Wednesday’s game goes a little better for our boy wonder than the previous ones this season have treated him.

So today is Pato’s big day and he is officially not a teenager anymore *wipe tear away*. So Feliz aniversário Pato, espero você tem um muita feliz anivérsario!! (My Portuguese isn’t that great, I’m learning though). Happy birthday Alex! Let’s hope for many many goals this season.

I know I’m being a little dramatic, but after this past week I think I deserve it. Now, if you choose to believe the rumors that are floating around right now, Alex is reported to have said his future is undecided, and that he’ll talk to Ancelotti before he makes any decisions…*le sigh.* Do they think it’s funny or something to reduce me to a nervous breakdown so soon after the end of Kakagate 2.0? I can’t handle anymore upheaval at Milan.

After Kaka left reports started swirling around saying Pato was unsure of his future. Uncle Fester Galliani has announced that Pato is 100% percent off the market and not for sale. You can choose to interpret this as you wish, you know, considering just last year Kaka was nontransferable. Now Pato has said that he was misinterpreted and used, oh the drama that is Ac Milan.

It must be fun to have 35 microphones in your face when you talk, no?

Word on the street is that Alex and Sthefany are going to tie the knot on July 7th, 2009 at the luxury Copacabana Palace hotel. One word, WOW (I’m not jealous or anything I swear ). Initial reports had the guest list including over 1,500 friends and family. Anyways mama Sthefany, Sandra Brito, has come out and said that those numbers are absolute rubbish and so, so, so not real. The event is going to be ultra exclusive with only a few close knit family and friends.

Two rooms have been booked at the hotel, and O Globo is reporting that dinner for the guests is estimated to cost around US $450,000 (again this is just speculation from O Globo, what statistics they are using to get that number we don’t know). When I read that number the first thought through my mind was, oh that’s all?? That’s peanuts right? If I were to spend that much money on a wedding my guest better be bringing a d*mn good gift, that’s all I gotta say.

The last few games since that “incident” that shall remain nameless, Alex has started from the bench. What I don’t understand is why. Is it because Pippo Inzaghi has showed a glimpse of what he once was so Ancelotti threw all options out the window to field Prima Donna Pippo? Or is there more to it? What ever the reason be Ancelotti better suck it up and start fielding our starlet, because I’m growing impatient and he does not want to see me angry. What I do know is that with a comments like this:

“It is true that I haven’t scored for a long time, but in any case I am enjoying my time here, and I always give my all for this club. I will do my best to change this against Udinese.

“The coach has decided not to play me in some matches recently, and that is something that I have to respect.

“I still like everything about him though, as he has been a major influence for my career. I hope that we can win this weekend’s match for him too, as he deserves it.”

Obviously he’s not injured.

Pato gave an interview insisting that Ronaldinho will stay, saying:

“He always wants to play, but in any case I see him happy. He works at his hardest and is always ready to be called to play.”

Made me all warm and fuzzy inside to see him supportive of Ronaldinho, but to tell you the truth I can’t imagine why Ronaldinho would want to stay. He hasn’t played and come November and the imminent re-arrival of “Golden balls” he probably won’t ever play. All in all it’s been another busy week for him.

Sadly he is still sans hair, but it’s growing back so there is hope! Hopefully Sthefany and everyone on the team laughed at him and teased him to no end so he’ll never do it again.

Just days after admitting that he wants to marry girlfriend Sthefany Brito, pictured above, within the next year, he goes and shaves his head. He said in an interview that he had been wanting to shave his head completely for a while but Sthefany was against it, smart chica if you ask me. So the other night they were at home and he mentioned it again, they talked to her sister and brother Kayky, who has recently just shaved his head also, and they won the battle of the hair showdown…unfortunately. I’d like to say I’m just kidding but unfortunately the photographic evidence doesn’t lie.

In the same interview where he’s quoted as saying he wants to marry Sthefany, he also admits he wants to win the CL, with Milan, and fly to Paris to receive the Golden Ball Trophy. I got winded just writing out the schedule he has planned for himself, good thing that those events don’t happen all at once.

Here is a picture of the culprit that had a lot to do with Pato shaving his head. No, he’s not single (just in case any ladies were wondering).

Hey guys, sorry I haven’t been able to post lately. I’ve been really busy with school. Only a few weeks left though and then I’ll be back like the beginning.

Pato also commented on the rumors following Kaka around like a black cloud. He says that he thinks Kaka made the right decision to stay in Milan in January and he doesn’t see him going anywhere. Well Pato I hope that you are right, because most of us Milan fans won’t be able to handle Kakagate 2.0

If you don’t understand Portuguese he mentions that Pirlo, Luca Antonini, Thiago Silva, Emerson, Seedorf, Dida, and Jankulovski are his neighbors. While he also has neighbors from Inter like Cambiasso, Dacourt, Burdisso, Materazzi, Maicon and Adriano. Talk about having some cool neighbors, well with the exception of the brood from Inter. He also talks about the doctor that operated on the tumor in his arm and how grateful he is to him, because if he wouldn’t have operated the tumor would have become cancerous in a few months.

Anyways let’s move on….

So Dunga called up Pato for the World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Peru along with the rest of the Milan team. When asked what he thought of Ronaldo’s return he had this to say:

“I watched his recent performances on television, I’m very happy for him because he suffered a lot.”

“He has already done a lot for the Seleçao, but I think he could still give his contribution. Brazil have many champions, but there is only one Phenomenon. Ronaldo is an idol and an example for me.

“He had a thousand injuries, almost all of them very serious, but always somehow managed to pick himself up and come back. He has an incredible character.”

If footballing doesn’t work out for him, which is high unlikely considering how well he’s doing, he could have a future in PR. He sure knows how to talk to the Press doesn’t he?
